In its roles as a Volkswagen brand showcase and the production site of the Volkswagen ID.3 (Power consumption combined: 16.2-15.1 kWh/100 km; CO₂-emissions combined: 0 g/km; CO₂-class: A. With our transparent production facilities that are accessible to visitors within the scope of a tour, the world of experience e-mobility exhibition, the e-test drives on offer and the e-mobility charging station, we want to dispel any misgivings or reservations towards e-mobility. Visitors and potential customers can meet product experts on site who can show them in a practical way and explain how electric mobility works in their daily lives.
We see ourselves as a place where topics concerning the future are discussed and advanced, as a forum for new ideas in the field of mobility of the future and a test lab for innovation. Young, talented people in the fields of IT and mobility work on concepts for networked transportation in our start-up incubator, and our manufacturing facility serves as a testing ground for new production ideas with regard to human-robot collaboration. With our Future Mobility Campus, a school lab in the middle of production, we are already promoting the next generation of tomorrow.
